Government of Maharashtra appointed MMRDA as a Special Planning Authority (SPA) for –
The Town & Country Planning Division of MMRDA is involved in preparation of Development Plans for the above SPA areas. It also issues Development Permissions, No Objection Certificate (NOC's), providing clarification regarding CRZ, D.P. Remarks, processing of Land use modification proposals. It also co-ordinates with local authorities on various issues related to development.
Functions of Division
Functions of T&CP division are as follows:
- Prepares Development Plans for the SPA areas
- Issues Development Permissions, No Objection Certificate (NOC's)
- Provides clarification regarding CRZ, D.P. Remarks
- Processing of Land use modification proposals.
